Officially released as a single on May 21, 2025, “Wa Tambula Kolowa” is part of the collaborative project Ecos do Metodismo, a musical work created to preserve and share the rich worship heritage of the Methodist Church in Angola. The song’s official video premiered on September 5, 2025, capturing the choir in a spirit of communion, celebration, and praise.
The title “Wa Tambula Kolowa” translates as “He Received the Crown” or “I Received the Crown,” carrying a testimony of endurance and spiritual victory. Its message reflects patience in Christ Jesus, reminding believers that faithfulness through trials leads to divine reward.
Musically, the song is built around the rhythmic feel of Semba, a traditional Angolan genre, giving the worship a warm, celebratory, and deeply cultural sound. Through this release, Coral Vozes do Sinai also highlights the spiritual role of women in the church as pillars of faith, life, and gospel service.
