Renowned Tanzanian gospel group Neema Gospel Choir teams up with gospel minister Godliver Godian for a powerful new studio rendition of “Dhahabu.”
RELATED: Neema Gospel Choir – Usifiwe
Officially released on October 2, 2026, the new version follows the popular live rendition released in 2025, bringing the worship song back with a fresh studio sound and a beautifully produced official music video.
“Dhahabu,” meaning “Gold” in Swahili, carries a deeply encouraging message about trusting God through difficult seasons. Using the image of gold being refined through fire, the song reminds believers that trials are not meant to destroy them but can shape, strengthen, and prepare them for something better.
The song also speaks about God’s faithfulness, encouraging listeners to continue believing His promises even during moments when He may seem silent or distant.
“Dhahabu” was written by Joshua Ngowi, Samuel Limbu, and Fredrick Masanja, with audio production handled by Victorious Production. The official music video was directed by Syber Pic and edited by Titus Alfred.
