Tanzanian female vocalist and songwriter Yammi has released a brand new single titled “Mpende Anaekupenda,” a soulful Bongo Flava track carrying a strong message about love, self-worth, and choosing relationships where affection is returned.

Officially released on September 18, 2026, the song was produced by Tanzanian hitmaker Ma Feeling and released through Ziiki Media via Virgin Music Group. Yasirun Yasin Shaban is credited with the songwriting, composition, and mastering.
The Swahili title “Mpende Anaekupenda” translates to “Love the one who loves you.” Throughout the song, Yammi presents love almost like a set of rules, touching on loyalty, caring for one another, avoiding cheating, and knowing when to walk away from someone who does not value you.
