Shwi No Mtekhala delivers “Sanibonani,” a classic South African Maskandi song released in 2004 as part of their massive album, Wangisiza Baba.

The title “Sanibonani” means “Hello everyone” in Zulu, reflecting the song’s warm and respectful greeting. Its memorable message helped the track become an anthem across South Africa.
The song was part of the hugely successful Wangisiza Baba album, which went on to sell over 500,000 copies, cementing the duo’s place in South African music history.
Musically, “Sanibonani” captures the authentic Maskandi sound of Shwi No Mtekhala, combining traditional Zulu musical elements with engaging rhythms and expressive vocals.
