Nez Long leads the track with punchy verses, commanding delivery, and energetic vernacular flows that give the song its street-smart identity. Derry Deezzo adds an infectious, high-tempo hook that anchors the track and keeps its momentum moving throughout. Together, the two artists create a forceful collaboration built around confidence and unapologetic self-expression.
“Don’t Try Me 2.0” addresses the realities of city life, real-life hustle, and the pressure that comes with navigating difficult environments. The song also rejects fake displays of wealth while emphasizing genuine struggle, resilience, and authenticity. Its central message is direct: critics should not mistake patience or silence for weakness.
The production is driven by a hard electronic rap beat layered with heavy synthetic basslines and a club-ready rhythmic structure. The energetic instrumental provides a strong foundation for Nez Long’s forceful verses and Derry Deezzo’s memorable hook. The result is a high-energy Zed rap anthem designed to hit with both lyrical attitude and heavy bass.
The official single is available across major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Shazam, for listeners worldwide. A stylized digital visualizer was also released through the Nez Long YouTube Channel, complementing the track’s energetic presentation. “Don’t Try Me 2.0” further showcases the chemistry between two notable voices in Zambia’s contemporary hip-hop scene.
