Renowned Tanzanian worship group Neema Gospel Choir has released a brand-new live gospel song titled “Yu Upande Wangu (Daddy),” officially released on September 16, 2026. The track arrived as part of a special double release alongside another gospel song titled “Usifiwe.”

Written, composed, and led by Herman Mchome, “Yu Upande Wangu (Daddy)” is a powerful declaration of faith, gratitude, and confidence in God as a loving and protective Father. The song carries a message of assurance that God remains close to His people, restores their souls, protects them through difficult moments, and gives them confidence to face life without fear.
The live production was handled by Victorious Production, with Fredrick Japhet Kilago (Masanja) serving as audio producer, assisted by co-producer Quillian Japhet Kilago, while Samuel Mboya handled audio capturing. The official live music video was directed by Johnson Amigo, with Titus Alfred serving as production manager.
The performance also features JTL Horns from South Africa, adding a rich brass arrangement to the choir’s energetic live worship sound. Stage, sound, lighting, and backline production were handled by Abe Professional Sound, bringing together a wider technical team from Tanzania, Kenya, the United Kingdom, and South Africa.
