Sung entirely in Kinyarwanda, “Inkuru Yanjye” translates to “My Story” and carries the heart of a personal testimony. The song reflects on how God can transform pain, shame, and struggles into a powerful testimony of His grace. Its message encourages believers to trust God’s ability to rewrite their stories and bring hope through difficult seasons.
Mupenzi Stebbin leads the song with passionate vocals and an acoustic-driven worship approach. Blossom Singers add lush harmonies and dynamic choral responses that strengthen the emotional impact of the record. Their combined performances create a moving worship experience built around testimony and thanksgiving.
Musically, the song embraces a soft, mid-tempo contemporary gospel sound with a warm and intimate atmosphere. Acoustic guitar strums, atmospheric keyboard pads, and progressive percussion support the song’s testimonial narrative. The arrangement gradually builds alongside the vocals, giving the collaboration an uplifting and emotionally resonant character.
“Inkuru Yanjye” was released alongside an official music video through Mupenzi Stebbin’s YouTube channel. The collaboration has also gained attention through worship challenges, lyric shares, and short snippets across Christian digital spaces. Its message and choral presentation make it a fitting addition to the growing Rwandan contemporary gospel scene.
