Tanzanian Bongo Flava singer Linah Sanga presents a new romantic single titled Huyu, released on September 5, 2026.
RELATED : Linah – Nipo
“Huyu,” which translates to “This One,” is an emotional love song about finding someone who becomes truly irreplaceable in your life. The track explores deep affection, vulnerability, loyalty, and the confidence to stand by the person you love regardless of outside opinions.
The song was produced by Kimambo Beats, combining smooth Bongo Flava and Afro-Pop elements with Linah’s expressive vocal delivery.
“Huyu” appears as Track #2 on Linah Sanga’s LOVE NOTES EP, released under The African Princess, the record label owned by Tanzanian singer Nandy.
The song’s message was also captured in the memorable phrase used by Nandy while promoting the release: “Sitaki nishauriwe kwa huyu!” — meaning, “I don’t want anyone’s advice when it comes to this one.”
An official music video accompanies the release, presenting an intimate and romantic visual interpretation of the song’s themes of love, closeness, and emotional security.
“Huyu” is available alongside the rest of the LOVE NOTES EP on major digital streaming platforms including Spotify, Audiomack, Apple Music, and Boomplay.
