Zimbabwean gospel group Joyfull Praise Choir joins forces with Bishop Gamaliel Blessing Madindi for an uplifting Shona praise and worship anthem titled “Hallelujah Inziyo Yangu.”
Released on September 20, 2026, the song is a passionate declaration of praise, thanksgiving, and complete devotion to God. It was written by Gamaliel Blessing Madindi, who also serves as the track’s executive producer, while Joyfull Praise Choir delivers the powerful background vocals that give the record its rich congregational sound.
Published under GBMadindi Ihebo Music, “Hallelujah Inziyo Yangu” builds around the Shona phrase “Inziyo yangu,” meaning “my song.” Together with “Hallelujah,” the phrase communicates the central message that praise to God has become the singer’s personal and continuous song.
The lyrics go deeper by connecting worship with everyday existence. The singers describe their lives, their breathing, and their voices as being dedicated to giving praise. Rather than presenting worship as something reserved for church services or special moments, the song portrays praise as a way of life.
Its repetitive choral structure gradually develops into an energetic worship experience, with the lead vocals and choir exchanging increasingly passionate declarations of “Hallelujah.” This gives the track the atmosphere of a live praise session and makes it especially suited to congregational worship.
The song had already generated attention across social media before its official digital release, with clips circulating among gospel listeners and worship communities.
