The audio and official music video were released on September 25, 2026, across digital music platforms and global streaming networks. The accompanying visual presentation tells a compelling story centered on faith and deliverance while complementing the song’s biblical message. FMS combine their full ensemble with carefully arranged vocal handoffs to create a rich worship experience.
“Walivuka” translates from Swahili to “They Crossed,” drawing inspiration from the biblical account of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. The song references Exodus 14:14–15 and Hebrews 11:29, reminding believers that seemingly impossible situations do not have to determine their final destination. Its message offers encouragement to those facing personal struggles, grief, financial difficulties, or seasons that feel impossible to overcome.
Musically, the song blends East African Gospel, Swahili Adventist Choral, and Sacred Praise & Worship through an acoustic-driven arrangement. Layered harmonies and an acapella-style vocal approach gradually build the performance toward an explosive and victorious celebration. The contrast between intimate choral passages and the fuller ensemble gives the song a strong sense of movement and emotional progression.
“Walivuka” ultimately presents a message of hope rooted in the faithfulness and overcoming power of God. FMS use their collective vocal strength to transform the biblical story of deliverance into an encouragement for listeners navigating their own difficult seasons. The result is a powerful choral worship piece that celebrates perseverance, divine intervention, and the confidence that God can make a way through seemingly impossible circumstances.
