Tanzanian Bongo Flava recording artist and WCB Wasafi signee D Voice teams up with talented singer and songwriter Jay Melody on a brand new song titled “Banana.”
RELATED: Lulu Diva – Viatu Vyangu Ft D Voice
Released on September 20, 2026, “Banana” brings together D Voice’s energetic delivery and Jay Melody’s smooth, melodic vocals in a playful Bongo Flava collaboration centered on love, attraction, affection, and the sweetness of being deeply attached to someone.
The song finds the two artists celebrating a romance they are proud of while brushing aside people who envy their relationship. Its catchy “Banana” hook gives the track a playful identity, while the verses mix romantic expressions with witty Swahili lines and the chemistry both artists bring to the record.
“Banana” was produced by Mr LG, with songwriting credits to Abduli Hamisi Mtambo (D Voice) and Sharif Said Juma (Jay Melody).
