Kenyan urban artist Budmind presents “Blocks,” a high-energy Kenyan Dancehall and Urban Ragga track rooted in Nairobi’s street culture and dancehall movement.

Written and performed by Budmind, the song explores neighborhood pride, hustle, and the raw energy of K-Block street culture, delivering a confident representation of life and ambition within the urban streets.
Musically, “Blocks” combines energetic dancehall rhythms, heavy basslines, rhythmic percussion, and expressive urban vocal delivery, creating a lively sound built for both street sessions and dancehall audiences.
The track forms part of the Dabal Riddim compilation project curated by Dabal Records, with audio engineering handled by Trikky Daddo.
The official music video was directed by Don Ibraahim (Director Ibraah) and features gritty street visuals that reflect Nairobi’s contemporary underground dancehall scene.
Originally released on June 10, 2026, the official music video followed on August 3, 2026, giving the track renewed visibility across Kenya’s urban music scene.
