Kenyan underground Hip-Hop heavyweight Virusi Mbaya teams up with Scar Mkadinali for a brand new track titled “Shida za Kidosi,” delivering another gritty collaboration rooted in Nairobi’s raw street-rap culture.

Officially released on August 9, 2026, the track continues the strong musical chemistry between Virusi Mbaya and Scar Mkadinali, who have previously worked together on records including “Hapatikani” and “Have Mercy.”
Loosely translating to “rich people’s problems,” “Shida za Kidosi” plays with the contrast between life in the trenches and the problems associated with wealth and privilege. The two rappers approach the subject with witty street references, Sheng lyricism, and an unapologetic perspective on everyday life.
Musically, the track stays firmly within Kenyan Hip-Hop, combining a hard-hitting beat with Virusi Mbaya’s seasoned delivery and Scar Mkadinali’s distinctive street flow.
