Originally released as a standalone single, “Have Mercy” later became a landmark track on Virusi Mbaya’s Matenjagwo studio album in August 2026. The song was produced by Top Beatz alongside a local Nairobi street engineer and distributed through 2109087 Records DK / DistroKid. The official visuals were handled by Virusi Mbaya’s visual team alongside independent Nairobi street videographers.
Lyrically, “Have Mercy” functions as both a street confession and a spiritual appeal.
