Officially released on August 13, 2026, the song features a remarkable gathering of artists from different generations of Rwanda’s gospel music scene, including Aimé Uwimana, Papi Clever, Josh Ishimwe, Aline Gahongayire, Gaby Kamanzi, Bosco Nshuti, Tonzi, Christian Irimbere, Patrick & Tracy, Trésor, and other worshippers.
“Tweguye Inanga” carries a strong message of thanksgiving, unity, and worship. The title draws inspiration from the Inanga, Rwanda’s traditional stringed instrument that has long played an important role in the country’s musical and storytelling heritage.
In the context of the song, the Inanga becomes a powerful symbol of lifting voices, instruments, and hearts in praise to God. The worshippers come together to thank God for His faithfulness, protection, blessings, and the journey of Rwanda as a nation.
The collaboration also connects different generations of Rwandan gospel music, with established pioneers and contemporary worship leaders joining together in one celebration of faith and national thanksgiving.
