South African Maskandi artist Mzukulu teams up with Floda Graé on “Akumele,” a soulful Maskandi / Afro-Soul collaboration taken from his Ubumina EP.

Officially released on August 7, 2026, the track was distributed through DistroKid under Baqazile Entertainment. “Akumele” was written and composed by Dumisani Sfanele Zulu (Mzukulu) together with Floda Graé.
The song explores a complicated romantic relationship filled with affection, emotional tension, and the fear of losing someone important. Its central message revolves around refusing to give up on love, even when conflict and mixed emotions begin pulling the relationship apart.
