South African Maskandi artist MALIBONGWE, whose real name is Malibongwe Zuma, has released a powerful new song titled “UKUK’THANDA YEBO” featuring UMnotho and USDUH DLADLA.

“UKUK’THANDA YEBO” was officially released on August 19, 2026, and appears as the fifth track on MALIBONGWE’s 5-track album NGIYABABA. The project was released via Zeligeh Trading, under exclusive distribution by Sony Music Entertainment Africa.
Produced by Siphephelo Ngcobo, the song carries a strong traditional Maskandi sound, blending expressive vocals, fast-paced delivery, and emotional storytelling. MALIBONGWE joins forces with UMnotho and USDUH DLADLA to deliver a track centered on love, pride, and emotional boundaries.
The standout line “Ukuk’thanda yebo, ukuk’ncenga chabo” has already become one of the song’s most memorable hooks, loosely carrying the message of loving someone, but refusing to beg or plead for love.
