Lesotho hip-hop artist Litshepe LR teams up with Lwah Ndlunkulu and MaWhoo on “Lerato Laka (Remix),” a vibrant Southern African Hip-Hop / Afro-Pop / Afrobeats collaboration that blends romantic storytelling with contemporary regional sounds. The remix combines Litshepe LR’s Lesotho-rooted rap style with the melodic presence of his South African collaborators.

Released as track six on his Maja – Samo EP in August 2026, “Lerato Laka (Remix)” was produced by Shev Shengu and released through CRYSTL Group. The visual production was handled by the CRYSTL Group and Litshepe LR’s visual team.
Lyrically, “Lerato Laka,” meaning “My Love,” presents a romantic narrative built around affection, devotion, and the emotional intensity of a relationship. The collaboration brings together different Southern African linguistic and cultural influences, particularly through its use of Sesotho and Zulu expressions.
Musically, the track blends contemporary Southern African hip-hop with smooth Afrobeats, featuring polyrhythmic percussion, deep basslines, melodic vocal passages, and infectious grooves. Its crossover sound has helped the remix connect with younger audiences across Southern Africa, while its strong early digital reception further boosted its visibility.
