Kenyan hip-hop collective Wakuu Music returns with “CYPHER 004,” a hard-hitting Hip-Hop / Drill cypher featuring Virusi Mbaya and Scar Mkadinali. Released on July 19, 2026, the track marks the fourth installment of the group’s ongoing cypher series.

The audio was mixed and mastered by Obwar Bwana at Wakuu Records, while the official music video was directed by renowned Kenyan videographer Ondivow. Both the video and digital audio premiered simultaneously across major streaming platforms, quickly attracting thousands of views within the first day of release.
Unlike conventional singles, “CYPHER 004” is built around uninterrupted lyricism rather than a catchy chorus. Wakuu Music opens with sharp Swahili and Sheng punchlines, Virusi Mbaya delivers gritty street-inspired bars reflecting Nairobi’s urban life, and Scar Mkadinali closes the cypher with his signature laid-back flow, clever wordplay, and commanding drill style.
