Food and Human Nutrition Practical

NECTA has scheduled Food and Human Nutrition Practical (051/2) from:

October 5, 2026 – October 16, 2026.

Candidates taking this subject should therefore follow instructions from their examination centres before the beginning of the main written examinations.

Important Notes from NECTA

Candidates are required to sit for their examinations at the centre where they are registered unless NECTA advises otherwise in writing.

They must also follow all instructions given by supervisors, invigilators and Council officers.

NECTA states that a candidate who arrives more than 30 minutes late will not be allowed to enter the examination room.

Candidates should also note that if there is any contradiction between the timetable and a question paper, the day, time and duration printed on the question paper must be followed. Examinations will also continue as scheduled even when an examination day falls on a public holiday.

Examination Rules for Candidates

Candidates may bring into the examination room only materials specifically permitted for the examination.

NECTA warns that candidates suspected of cheating, attempting to cheat or assisting another candidate to cheat may be disqualified from the examination and may also be excluded from future Council examinations.

Communication between candidates is prohibited during an examination. A candidate who needs assistance should raise their hand and wait for an invigilator.

Candidates must write their correct examination number on every answer booklet or answer sheet. Using another candidate’s examination number may lead to cancellation of examination results.

All written answers should be completed using blue or black ink or ballpoint pen, while drawings must be completed in pencil.

Practical Examination Instructions

For practical examinations, NECTA requires the area around laboratories to be restricted during preparation.

Candidates involved in practical examinations must be kept in designated rooms from 7:00 AM until the beginning of the examination.

Students, parents, teachers and schools should rely on the official NECTA CSEE 2026 timetable to avoid mistakes concerning examination dates and times.

The official timetable clearly identifies the examination as the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination Timetable, October 2026.

Advice for Form Four Candidates

Candidates are advised to begin revision early, follow the official timetable closely, practise past examination papers and prepare carefully for each subject.

They should also arrive at their examination centres well before the scheduled starting time and make sure they understand all NECTA examination regulations.

Parents and guardians can support candidates by encouraging proper time management, sufficient rest and consistent preparation during the examination period.

Conclusion

The official Form Four Exam Timetable 2026 shows that the main NECTA CSEE examinations will run from October 19 to November 6, 2026, while Food and Human Nutrition Practical will take place earlier from October 5 to October 16, 2026.

Candidates should use the official timetable, arrive on time and follow all examination instructions provided by NECTA.
