Tanzanian rapper Aznas 40 Bars has released a hardcore Bongo Hip-Hop single titled “THE REAL GOAT,” featuring veteran lyricist Azma Mponda. The track is a heavy lyrical statement built around authenticity, struggle, and artistic legacy.
Officially released on July 6, 2026, “THE REAL GOAT” was recorded and produced under Aznas Music in Dar es Salaam. The song brings together Aznas 40 Bars’ rapid-fire delivery and Azma Mponda’s sharp metaphors and seasoned storytelling.
Musically, “THE REAL GOAT” carries a classic hardcore boom-bap feel, giving both rappers space to deliver strong bars with a raw Tanzanian hip-hop edge. The collaboration also connects with Azma Mponda’s wider role as a respected name from the Kikosi Kazi era and founder of Aznas Music.
The release follows a steady run of 2026 hip-hop drops from the Aznas Music camp, including “Maturity (Ukomavu)” and “Jiulize,” as the label continues pushing local hip-hop as both culture and business.
