Officially released on January 18, 2026, “Makambu Ya Sika” runs for 3 minutes and 11 seconds and was produced under Angela Eciba Ministries. The title translates from Lingala as “New Things,” reflecting the song’s message of hope and spiritual change.
The song was written and composed by Angela Eciba, with arrangement and direction by Aristote Mupiere. Mixing and mastering were completed at Arison Studio in Kinshasa, giving the track a clean and polished gospel sound.
Musically, “Makambu Ya Sika” is supported by rich live instrumentation, including keyboards by Aristote Mupierre, guitars by Mangbame Alunga Joel, percussion by Croco Esende, and saxophone by Joe Makelefa. Together, these elements give the song a warm Congolese gospel feel.
