Rwandan gospel duo Alicia and Germaine have announced an upcoming Kinyarwanda gospel song titled “Ibanga.” The title translates to “The Secret,” carrying a strong message of faith, trust, and God’s protection.

The song was teased across digital platforms in late June and early July 2026, although the official release date has not yet been announced. “Ibanga” is expected to build more anticipation ahead of the duo’s debut international album scheduled for later in the year.
Through its message, “Ibanga” points to the belief that those who trust in God carry a powerful secret of divine love, protection, and faithfulness. The song reflects the worship identity of Alicia and Germaine, who continue to grow as rising voices in Rwandan gospel music.
The duo, originally from Rwanda’s Western Province, gained wider attention after winning Best Gospel Artist at the 2025 Rubavu Music Awards & Talent Detection.
