Malawian artist Synik, also known as Sygod, teams up with Malinga Mafia and Crispy Malawi on “Utizape,” a brand-new collaborative single bringing together strong voices from Malawi’s urban music scene.

Officially released on June 12, 2026, “Utizape” is available on major streaming platforms, including Deezer, and has also been promoted by Roots Magazine Africa. The song brings a high-energy Mpanje / urban street vibe, giving fans a fresh collaboration from some of Malawi’s exciting contemporary artists.
The track features Malinga Mafia, one of Malawi’s prominent Dancehall artists, alongside Crispy Malawi, also known as Chifundo Chingaipe, a respected rapper known for his lyrical consistency and streetwise delivery. Together with Synik, they create a lively record built on confidence, energy, and Malawian urban flavor.
“Utizape” had already created anticipation before release, with studio footage teased as early as March 2026, showing the artists working together. The final release marks a notable moment for the Lilongwe music scene, highlighting collaboration, street culture, and the growing strength of modern Malawian music.
