Zimbabwean hip-hop artist and producer Sane Wav returns with a brand new audio release titled “ZUMBANI,” a hard-hitting ZimHipHop / New-Wave Freestyle track from his newly launched studio project MWENE WEKOLOSO.

Officially released on June 20, 2026, “ZUMBANI” appears as Track #2 on the MWENE WEKOLOSO album. The song was self-produced under Sane Wav’s independent imprint Usadaro, continuing his signature DIY approach where he controls both the production and vocal delivery.
The title “ZUMBANI” refers to the traditional Zimbabwean fever-tea herb known for its strong aromatic nature. In the song, Sane Wav channels that same raw intensity into a freestyle-style performance, delivering sharp lyrical energy over heavy bassline loops and urban rap elements.
Rolled out as a freestyle cut across social platforms, “ZUMBANI” quickly built hype among local rap circles, showing Sane Wav’s ability to create music that feels raw, direct, and connected to Zimbabwe’s modern hip-hop culture.
