Officially released on February 28, 2025, “Twawa” is a deep song of reverence, surrender, and adoration before God. The title “Twawa” translates from Bemba as “We Fall Prostrate,” expressing the posture of believers bowing in honor at God’s throne.
The song carries a strong worship message of exalting Yahweh as worthy, holy, and lifted above all. Through its heartfelt Bemba lyrics, Pastor Medoreen S. Besa leads listeners into a moment of humility, praise, and total surrender before God.
“Twawa” was written by Ben Banda, with additional lyrics by Medoreen S. Besa, and produced by Ben Blazer and Lazarus Zulu. The live arrangement features rich instrumentation from Lazarus Zulu, David Mbozi, Mwila Chileshe, Joshua Zimba, Mapalo Simutowe, and Mesole Samuel Bolaji on saxophone.
