South African gospel minister Khaya Mthethwa has released a brand new 3-track live EP titled Art & Worship II: The Encounter, officially released on June 12, 2026.

Captured during a powerful live recording night at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City in late 2025, Art & Worship II: The Encounter focuses on raw, intimate worship sessions rather than commercial radio sounds. The project carries a deep spiritual atmosphere, recreating the live encounter experienced by thousands of worshippers during the recording.
The EP serves as the second installment in Khaya Mthethwa’s Art & Worship series, following his 2022 debut live album. Described as a deliberately intimate body of work created for an audience of one — God — the project highlights heartfelt praise, African gospel expression, and powerful moments of live ministration.
Art & Worship II: The Encounter features celebrated gospel ministers including Oncemore Six, known for his spontaneous vocal depth, and Takie Ndou, a respected giant in Venda worship. Together, they help shape the project into a worship experience filled with faith, surrender, and the presence of God.
