Tanzanian rising artist Ivanny, also known as Ivanny Tz, returns with a brand new audio single titled “Yako Wapi,” an emotional Bongo Flava / Romantic Melancholy track built around heartbreak, broken promises, and the pain of abandoned love.

Officially released on June 18, 2026, “Yako Wapi” was produced by Kheyzone (@itskheyzone), with visuals directed by Director Leey. The title “Yako Wapi” loosely translates to “Where are they?” or “Where is it?” in Swahili, reflecting the song’s central question about love, promises, and emotional loss.
Musically, “Yako Wapi” carries a smooth guitar-led baseline, soft vocal layers, and a deeply emotional R&B-inspired Bongo Flava sound. Ivanny delivers the song with expressive vocals, allowing the sadness and vulnerability of the message to stand at the center of the track.
