Ugandan gospel group Imani Milele Choir presents a soul-stirring live worship medley featuring “Because He Lives,” “Jesus, Friend of Sinners,” and “Nothing but the Blood,” three timeless hymns delivered with rich harmonies, African worship energy, and heartfelt praise.

The songs are featured among the choir’s powerful live renditions from their July 2024 album, Unending Praise. Recorded live in Kampala at Gospel Messengers’ Church, this worship experience reflects the choir’s signature blend of uplifting vocals, joyful praise, dance, and deep spiritual devotion.
“Because He Lives,” originally written by Bill and Gloria Gaither, celebrates the hope, victory, and assurance believers have through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “Jesus, Friend of Sinners” highlights the love, mercy, and compassion of Christ toward those in need of grace, while “Nothing but the Blood,” written by Robert Lowry, reminds listeners of the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood.

Imani Milele, meaning “Everlasting Faith” in Swahili, is a choir made up of Ugandan boys and girls connected to Imani Milele Children. Through music, dance, and worship, the choir shares a message of hope while raising awareness for orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda.
