Released on June 5, 2026, “Bue M’ani” is part of the group’s Re-digging The Old Wells project, which revisits songs that have blessed and impacted generations. The original version was recorded and featured on their second album in 1992, making this new release a meaningful return to a classic after 34 years.
The title “Bue M’ani” translates to “Open My Eyes,” carrying a deep prayer for divine revelation, spiritual clarity, and understanding. The song is inspired by Psalm 119:18, asking God to open the eyes of the believer to see the wondrous things in His law.
The 2026 rendition was produced by Aeon Music Production and released under BTM Records, with a modernized arrangement that preserves the heart and message of the original. Sandra Boakye-Duah brings a personal connection to the song, having grown up listening to it and performing it with Daughters Of Glorious Jesus over the years.
Through “Bue M’ani,” Daughters Of Glorious Jesus continue their legacy of faith-filled gospel music, offering a worshipful prayer that speaks to both longtime listeners and a new generation.
