“Kibali” is a live-recorded Tanzanian Gospel / Worship song carrying a deep message about divine grace, favor, and acceptance before God. The title “Kibali” translates from Swahili as “Favor” or “Acceptance,” reminding believers that true breakthrough, open doors, and elevation come through the favor of God.
The song is spiritually connected to the message of Psalm 19:14, emphasizing that human effort alone is not enough without God’s approval and guidance. Through strong choral harmonies, live praise energy, and a call-and-response worship style, AICT Kigamboni Choir delivers a powerful reminder that God’s favor can change seasons and lift His people.
“Kibali” was written and composed by Emmanuel Shaban Tungu, with vocal leadership from Suzan Benjamin and Lightness Thank Mwakyabula. The music direction and vocal coaching involved Bartholomew Magulu and Abby, while the audio production was handled by Quillian Japhet Kilago.
The video production was directed and shot by SamVistar Creates at Haddypro in Sinza, Dar es Salaam. As a choir under the Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AICT) in Kigamboni, AICT Kigamboni Choir continues to minister through songs that inspire worship, faith, and spiritual encouragement.
