Tanzanian gospel choir AIC Nyankumbu Vijana Choir (NVC) has released a vibrant Swahili gospel single titled “Mashuhuri,” a high-energy choral worship track that blends traditional East African rhythms with dynamic vocal arrangements and expressive gospel choreography.

Formally premiered on June 11, 2026, “Mashuhuri” is performed by the AIC Nyankumbu Vijana Choir (NVC) from the Geita region and written and composed by gospel minister Isaya Mnyila, marking a breakthrough release across East African gospel and social media platforms.
The title “Mashuhuri,” meaning “Famous” or “Well Known,” reflects themes of God’s greatness, divine recognition, and celebratory praise. Through energetic choral delivery and rhythmic movement, the choir delivers a joyful worship experience rooted in African gospel tradition.
