Kenyan Mugithi singer Wanja Asali has released a brand new song titled “Imera Itihanaine,” a fresh Kikuyu music release with a soulful modern Mugithi feel.

The song was officially released on May 5, 2026, with the official video directed by Nicoh Creative. The audio was produced at Windstorm Studio, giving the track a clean sound that fits Wanja Asali’s emotional and traditional style.
Wanja Asali, also known as Mtoto wa Kiambu, is one of the popular voices in Kenya’s Mugithi and Kikuyu music scene. She is known for songs such as “Kanyoni Wihithe,” “Hihi Niukahota,” “Wendo wa Kuraya,” and “Wakinya Meere,” which helped grow her fan base among Mugithi lovers.
