Officially released on May 27, 2026, “Ozalima” comes with an official music video and has quickly gained attention across YouTube and social media. The track was produced by Kimambo Beats and released under Ziiki Media and WCB Wasafi, blending Bongo Flava, Afro-R&B, and Kompa-inspired rhythms.
The title “Ozalima” is connected to the Hindi-Urdu word “Zaalima,” meaning “Oppressor,” “Cruel One,” or “Tyrant.” In this song, however, Mbosso uses the word romantically to describe a woman whose beauty is so powerful that it “torments” him in the sweetest way. Her charm confuses his mind, disturbs his thoughts, and makes his love feel heavy and intense.
Through humorous and overprotective lines, Mbosso exaggerates how far he would go to guard his lover from admirers — from raising sharp-toothed dogs, putting up danger signs, to hiring a commando like Arnold and Rambo. This playful storytelling gives “Ozalima” a memorable romantic character while keeping the song fun, emotional, and easy to connect with.
Fans have also noted the song’s Bollywood-inspired feel, especially its connection to the popular “Zaalima” sound from the 2017 film Raees, reflecting Mbosso’s known love for Indian-influenced melodies and dramatic romance.
