Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist Marioo joins forces with WCB Wasafi rising star D Voice on “Watu,” a high-profile video / visualizer release from Marioo’s MMMCXII EP.

Officially released on May 29, 2026, “Watu” appears as the seventh track on the 9-song MMMCXII project. The track was produced under the supervision of Kaniba Creator, who also served as the Executive Producer for the full EP. A visualizer for “Watu” was released alongside the project to support its launch on digital platforms.
The song brings together Marioo, popularly known as Toto Bad, and D Voice, a fast-rising WCB Wasafi artist known for his unique Singeli-infused Bongo Flava style. Their collaboration creates a strong mix of melody, street energy, and danceable rhythm.
The title “Watu” means “People” in Swahili, and the song reflects on social dynamics, human behavior, and the realities of dealing with people in everyday life. With its soulful melodies and rhythmic beat, “Watu” stands out as one of the most anticipated tracks on MMMCXII.
