Malawian artist and producer Trappybeats teams up with Hope Cizzle on “Ndikubereka,” a catchy Afrobeat and Amapiano-fused song that became popular with fans in Malawi and beyond.

The song was officially released on August 15, 2025, through Hit Factory Records. It was produced by Trappybeats together with Hope Cizzle in Zomba, and later appeared on the album Banger Island II.
Trappybeats, whose real name is Ian Derrick Ngalande, is a Malawian producer and artist known for blending African rhythms with modern trap, Afrobeat, and Amapiano sounds. Apart from producing for artists such as Zeze Kingston, Gwamba, and Piksy, he has also built his own name through songs like “Cardio,” “Weekend,” and “Gwiii!”
“Ndikubereka” means “I am carrying you” in Chichewa. The song connects with the popular phrase “Ukatopa ndikubereka,” meaning when someone is tired, you will carry or support them. It carries a sweet message of love, care, protection, and standing by someone
