Now, Mbosso returns with a powerful new single, “Pawa” — the standout track lifted from his freshly released EP titled Room Number 3. This EP marks a significant milestone in his career, symbolizing a fresh start and his bold emergence as a confident independent artist. The title, Room Number 3, represents a personal space of growth, self-discovery, and artistic liberation.
“Pawa” (Swahili for Power) is a love song rooted in deep emotion. Through rich metaphors and fluid Swahili phrasing, Mbosso compares love to an intoxicating energy—so strong it renders him powerless: “naishiwa pawa” (I’m losing power). His vocals glide effortlessly over a melodic fusion of Bongo Flava and soulful instrumentation, striking a balance between vulnerability and admiration.
The EP features six captivating songs plus one exclusive bonus track, showcasing Mbosso’s evolution and maturity as he steps fully into his own creative light.
