Mbwana Yusuph Kilungi, widely known as Mbosso or Mbosso Khan, was born on October 3, 1995, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A celebrated singer-songwriter and instrumentalist, Mbosso is renowned for his soulful vocals and deeply emotive storytelling that resonates with fans across the globe. He first gained widespread acclaim as a member of the award-winning Yamoto Band (2012–2017), a group that played a vital role in shaping the contemporary Bongo Flava sound with their chart-topping hits and influential style.
