Tanzanian Bongo Flava superstar Harmonize, also known as Konde Boy, presents “Hujanikomoa,” a massive up-tempo Bongo Flava hit blending emotional Swahili R&B storytelling with energetic Singeli and military-style dance rhythms.

The official audio was released on February 6, 2020, followed by the official music video on February 8, 2020. “Hujanikomoa” appears as Track 17 on Harmonize’s debut studio album Afro East, distributed via Ziiki Media and released under his independent label Konde Music Worldwide.
The title “Hujanikomoa” translates from Swahili as “You haven’t hurt me” or “You haven’t destroyed me.” In the song, Harmonize sends a bold message to an ex-partner who tries to bring him down after a breakup, making it clear that he remains strong, unbothered, and emotionally resilient.
Musically, the track stands out for its unique switch from emotional storytelling into a frantic, military-inspired dance breakdown. Lines such as “Ruka kijeda” and “gwaride la kijeda” helped turn the song into a major dance craze across East Africa, giving “Hujanikomoa” its unforgettable live and street appeal.
