BTS Butter Breaks YouTube Record


 A seven-member South Korean boy band that began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment, BTS also known as the Bangtan Boys came through with a new banger tagged just released Butter.

“Butter” was released on May 21, and within an hour it had already amassed over 21 million views on Youtube.

The South Korean boy which includes Jin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jungkook broke their own record on Friday for most YouTube views in the first 24 hours of release with their new single “Butter” hitting approximately 113 million views

The band had set the previous record with their 2020 single Dynamitetheir first entirely in English that racked up 101.1 million in its first 24 hours.

“Butter” is a dance-pop song with sweet romantic love confessions lyrics. The fun and witty lyrics brimming with positive and bright energy will instantly uplift moods.

Furthermore, Butter doesn’t really focus on subjects like self-love, bullying, depression, etc that are prominent themes in the group’s previous songs.

At a press conference in Seoul on Friday, the group had said they had intentionally created a light-hearted song.
