In June 2023, I came across the song “UMEKUWA MWINGI“. At that time, I was going through many heart-wrenching experiences that were weakening my spirit. But whenever I felt like giving up, I remembered His abundant mercy and kindness towards me and my life in general, as Miriam Lukindo Mauki expresses in this book, Psalms 40:5: “O Lord my God, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.”
During that time, my biological father was in the hospital undergoing a sensitive operation, and in the same month, we had just buried my Aunt who had breastfed my father. #MiriamLukindo #UmekuwaMwingi
